HARVEST 2026 has begun

🌾ANNUAL HARVEST REMINDER🌾

Combines are out in force with tractors carting grain and bales throughout the countryside.

Invariably it means harvest staff and contractors are working long hours - weather permitting.

This is a part of our landscape and people are working in a time critical environment, please be considerate when in these areas.

A couple of words of advice:

🚜 Please don’t take any unnecessary risks overtaking farm traffic when it’s not safe to do so, the machinery will often be turning off into a hard to spot field entrance that you may not see.

❌ Baled fields aren’t play areas and are a risk to anyone who climbs on them, please stay off.

And for our hardworking farmers:

🔐  Please remember to secure loads and property. Lock up all property and remove keys.

This short harvest window is an incredible spectacle, so please take some time to give our farmers a thumbs up and a wave.
